Spring Tag...not so spring colours

Had fun with Tim Holtz stains on the background. Little butterflies stamped on the background and Tim Holtz stamp sentament.

Birdcage tags

It was fun using Tim Holtz birdcage die cuts to make these tags. I heat embossed the tags and added some crackle but that didn't show up. I coloured the ball chain with Alcohol ink...worked like a charm. Enjoy

Mini Album Graphic 45 inspired

Here is my matching mini album that was suppose to fit in the box. I didn't allow for the rings so now it's too big. I will just have to make another one. It was a fun project. All papers are by Graphic 45. Most of the flowers used are Prima that have been Glimmer Misted (Tattered Angels) and some are handmade using Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. Ribbons, lace, and fibers from stash.

My first altered box

This is my first altered box. I took a round paper mache gift box and covered it with Graphic 45 papers from the Steampunk Debutante Collection. Prima Flowers, Tim Holtz hardware, black pompom braid and black ribbon were added to complete the box. Mirrored butterfly was found at a Dollar Store. Now to make a matching mini album to go inside. The title is Believe In Yourself.
I hope you enjoy my blog. Please come back again soon.

Dress her up Marie

Made this dress for a swap on Art For the Creative Mind Yahoogroup. We are doing a monthly apparel swap. In January we did Slippers, in February a top hat, and March is the dress fit for Marie Antoinette. I covered some chipboard with pink cardstock by Stampin'Up and stamps flourishes on it, altough you can't really see it. Then I sewed lace and tulle together and layered it on the dress. It was fun to do. I hope my partner likes it.
