Fill Your Christmas Stocking
Made this stocking for a swap on Art For the Creative Mind yahoo group. I liked the way it turned out. One side is brown leather that I found in my stash and put it through my Big Shot with the new stocking die by Stampin'Up. The reindeer is a TH die, and the rest of the embellishments are from stash. Snowflakes are cut from glitter paper and a snowflake punch. That paper was really hard to cut with the punch.
The side showing is made of paper with leather cuff, heal and toe made with the leather. The Rosette the TH die. Stocking is filled with this and that. I found a Christmas pin in my stash that I also added.

A couple of things I've been working on.
I've picked up my knitting needles again and made this hat for a Christmas present. It is made from yarn called Rozetti Marina. Great to work with.
The banner is for a swap. You only can see part of it. Hopefully enough to get the idea. It spells Believe.
While I was away I had brought along some supplies but not enough to get to fancy. So the first card you see is from that adventure.
I think fall is my best season for colour.
The Side Step Card is for a swap too. I used Graphic45 Christmas Emporium collection.

Nothing New
Sorry, I haven't posted. Boy it looks like it's almost a month. I just received a new computer and I'm still learning my way around Windows 7 and Firefox. Trying to recover all my pictures, videos, contacts etc.
I am also going a away for a couple of weeks as well. I'm bringing stuff to work on, so I'll be playing.
Have a great autumn. Stay tuned. Hugs to all my followers.

Halloween Mask
I always loved the thought of going to a maskerade party from centuries ago. All dressed up and waltzing around the ballroom. The ladies with their beautiful handheld masks. Here is my version. The plastic mask was purchased years ago at Micheal's. Background paper is a Japanese imported paper with gold running through it. Stampin'Up ribbons, and rosette flower made from Stampin'Up paper. Wooden dowel, feathers and butterfly from stash. Rhinestones are also from Stampin'Up.
This was a great challenge and I hope you will have fun making one yourself. Enjoy an artful journey.

Textured Canvas "Enjoy the Journey"
I had fun today, creating this whimsical lady on a painted textured background. I drew her and then used gesso to white out the background. Cut out a dress and added gesso to that to soften it. She was then painted with acrylics and outlined with my new Pitt Pens. I love the way she turned out. It was my first time doing this kind of art. She is cute, don't you think?

Wednesday's Tag "secrets"
Tag is first distressed with Glimmer Mists (Tattered Angels); stamped with the Lady in a long coat by Altered Pages, the flower image is also by Altered Pages, sheet #598. Buttons from stash. What is her secret? I guess we will never know. Maybe it's hiding under her long coat, or maybe she has been stood up in the garden.

A pretty little card
Le Romantique canvas
This is actually not a stretch canvas but a piece of 7.5x7.5 mdf board that I painted the edges and covered the surface with some paper by K&Co. The image is cut from Graphic 45 LeRomantique collection. The pearl and lace are by Prima. Handmade satin roses and metal flowers by Graphic 45 finish the piece. I just love doing these little canvases. So many of the new papers by Graphic 45 and other companies really inspire me. Enjoy

Altered spoon
This is not my best steampunk, but it was fun to do. I found this old dessert spoon from a collector's series. It has a kangaroo at the top..but it's from a Canadian collection. In the bowl of the spoon I glued in some watch parts to look like they were spilling out. It's for a swap so I hope my partner likes it. The group has been doing some really awesome spoons. Mine pales in comparison. I will do another one later on.
