Altered BoxThe Year of the Dragon

I took a round gift box and cut Japanese made papers and covered the box. I painted the rim gold. I used images from Altered Pages. www.alteredpages.com I glued on some Chinese paper money and coins; flowers and a name plate. Once I got started it was fun to do. It's for a swap, so I hope my partner likes it.

Another curly scarf

I've finished 3 in the last day. They are all different. Here is one bright and cheery one. I believe the yarn is from Barnet or Bernet Yarns. Enjoy.

12x12 Steampunk Canvas

I love doing these types of pictures using canvas and wonderful papers from Graphic 45. I have so much paper that I am trying to use them up to make room for the new collections. The flowers are from stash. I love to use Glimmer Mist on them to make them whatever colour I need for the design. Lots of elements are added here and there. Enjoy

My charm bracelet and necklace

This is from a charm swap we did last year. I finally got the bracelet together and had enough charms for a necklace. This was a fun project.

I created this little mini for Valentine's Day. There are places for your photos and journaling on the tags inside the pockets. This mini is made with paper bags. Back ground papers are by Stampin'Up and the all the images are from Altered Pages. here.

Project in progress

This is still a piece in the thinking stages. It will be a steampunk on canvas. Nothing is glued down yet. This will be the before and I will post the after shot when I get it together.
I'm also working on a Valentine's Day mini album. I like to work on several things at once. I never have time to get bored. Enjoy

Still knitting

Here is another knitted project. It's a snood. You can wear it as cowl scarf or pull it over your head to keep you nice and cozy. It's made of long fringe type yard in a chocolate brown.

4x4 Teesha Moore Style

Here is a little 4x4 using Teesha Moore's style. It's like doodling with paper, watercolour and marker. Had fun with this one. I like the freedom of this style.

Another card

Having fun playing making cards today. This one was a one on one swap with a lady on another group I'm on. I'm not active on there, but I thought this swap might be fun.

My first card of the year

I had to make a flip flop card for a swap on Art For the Creative Mind Yahoo group. This is how it turned out. I hope my partner likes it. I was happy with it. All the measuring and cutting can be a challenge, but who doesn't like a challenge?

TH configurations and Graphic 45 team up

I used the Tim Holtz configurations box and Graphic 45 Steampunk collection for this. I've had it on the table thinking about it for months, so I bit the bullet yesterday and starting cutting up the papers. Boy, it's hard to cut up Graphic 45 papers. I love them all. Just added embellishments and just had fun with it. Should I add flowers to the outside? The jury is still out on that.

AP Circus card

Here is the first of a set of 6 Birthday cards all about the Circus. The Circus image is from Altered Pages, the printed paper is by Graphic 45.

2012...a different year, a new year

I have been working on some stuff...so stay tuned.

Fill Your Christmas Stocking

Made this stocking for a swap on Art For the Creative Mind yahoo group. I liked the way it turned out. One side is brown leather that I found in my stash and put it through my Big Shot with the new stocking die by Stampin'Up. The reindeer is a TH die, and the rest of the embellishments are from stash. Snowflakes are cut from glitter paper and a snowflake punch. That paper was really hard to cut with the punch.
The side showing is made of paper with leather cuff, heal and toe made with the leather. The Rosette the TH die. Stocking is filled with this and that. I found a Christmas pin in my stash that I also added.
